Smith Tower picture
Have you heard the story about the Smith Tower? many locals say it was the "box" that the Space Needle came in.

Folded like the legs of my tripod? Or maybe the Needle is inflatable, otherwise I don't see how it would fit.

Local Stories
Actually, the local story (since about 1980) is that the Columbia Tower (not Smith Tower) is the box the Space Needle came in.
