Alot of laptops are coming out with a widescreen displays. I found out it was hard to find good wallpapers in 1280x800. Until I found your site, awesome wallpapers!

I just got a widescreen monitor.
Everytime that I try to see a picture...this is too wide and deforms the picture...people have wider heads and bodies!!! :)

What can I do in order to see the pictures correctly?

Can anybody help me?

Also, is there a way to shot with the 20D and make the picture for a widescreen monitor??

you need to have the correct aspect ratio.
You are stretching your pictures.
The pictures of the 20D are 3:2, most Widescreen Montiors are 16:10 or 15:9 or something similar.
Open your picutre in PHotoshop and crop it to fit the correct aspect ratio of your monitor (e.g. 1280x768 = 5:3)
What is the exact resolution of your monitor?
Try changing the wallpaper settings so it won't fill the whole screen (Change Display to Center instead of Stretch). Then try to find a picture with the correct resolution.

I have a new NOVA LCM1540W widescreen LCD monitor and using Windows 98 still, and I was wondering how I can set my PC not to strech and deform web elements like pictures and videos, or on my PC photo album; do I need some driver so only original widescreen elements will be showed widescreen and any photos in any picture editor will be shown in its original shape

Are you refering to the background image? You can set that from stretch to any other setting you like (right click on the desktop or something like that).
Otherwise there should be no deformation. Computer pixels are square. This shouldn't happen. A wider screen usually means you have more room to the sides so you can display more stuff. It doesn't mean a square picture becomes stretched.

Hello, great wallpapers...since I got a new 19" widescreen flat monitor your pics look fantastic in my monitor. Some people coment that the pics and the video too, well check the resolution of your monitor and just configure it..most widescreen monitors have to be set at 1440x900,,if your video card can support that resolution then your will have no problems adjusting the pics.

I found your pics on BING.com just browsing for a place to escape to for a few minutes and saw I could save them to my screen for wallpaper. They are stunning and just gorgeous!!! I have a 6 month old laptop and saved it as a jpeg so I hope it will come up correctly and bookmarked you!! You are the best!
