Chrysler Building

This was the tallest building in New York from its completion in 1929 until the Empire State Building was finished in 1930. The architecture of the Chrysler Building is unique and a trademark of the New York Skyline. The stainless steel spire resembles a radiator grill and the 4 gargoyles on each corner are modeled after the hood ornaments of a 1929 Chrysler Plymouth.
