Built between 1737 to 1755 this church is the biggest church in the free state of Saxony. During the bombings of 1945 this church had almost been completely destroyed, like many other buildings in Dresden. Targeted to break the will of Germany, the bombings completely destroyed the town until no building was left. Erbaut von 1737 bis 1755 ist die Hofkirche die grösste Kirche im Freistaat Sachsen.
